[AANC Contacts] Fremont Peak Closure Update

It appears that pressure by FPOA and many other organizations and individuals state-wide has caused Sacramento to recognize the unpopularity of closing state parks and some of the problems that would result.  The outcome is not yet clear, and there is still high risk that Fremont Peak will close, but the original closure plan will probably be modified.  Stay tuned for further developments....
