Hi AANC friends,
NASAs IYA website shares content and activities for each month this year
(including my What's Up podcast) which is all about the Crab Nebula this
month.
In 1054, ancient stargazers in both the old and new worlds saw something
amazing! A star in the daytime! It was a stellar explosion and
recorded at the time from China, Korea, and at Chaco Canyon in the
American Southwest! Visible for 2 years to the unaided eye, this is the
big bopper of exploded stars in our recorded history!
My podcast shows the ancient observations as well as the more recent
ones. Hope you at look at it and share it. :-)
