Hello All,
A reminder that the California Academy of Sciences is having its Grand Re-Opening on
Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th.
This is a one-time opportunity to spread the word of your AANC member astronomy club.
Bring a scope, your body and some Club literature to hand out.
The SFAA will have a booth. We encourage you to hang out with us and celebrate amateur
astronomy.

On October 3rd and 4th it's time for the Starry Nights Festival in the high desert.
This event, sponsored by the town of Yucca Valley and the local Andromeda Astronomy Club,
is a great way to enjoy a dark sky site and the fellowship of amateur astronomers and
science lovers in a friendly desert town with clear air.
Guest speakers include: Kaspar von Braun, Tim Hunter, Dennis Mammana and David Levy.
