Dear AANC Board,

Due to scheduling conflicts, the AANC Board Meeting will now take
place on Sunday, March 28, 2010

This meeting will be held at Richard Ozer's place of business:
7730 Pardee Lane in Oakland:

http://bit.ly/8j6vyx

If coming from the North, take 880 south and exit Hegenberger. Turn
rt, and then rt again on Edgewater. Go about a mile and you'll see
Pardee Lane on the left. Turn left on Pardee, make a U turn at the
first break in the road, and pull into 7700. It's a greenish building
with a sign that says Give Something Back. Go to the rear of the
building and knock on the glass door.

If coming from the south, also exit Hegenberger, but you'll be turning
Left... Then follow the above instructions.'

Meeting is at 10:00

Richard's phone number is 510-406-1914 if you get lost.

Please send Alan your Club Reports by March 21st. Have anything you'd
like to cover on the agenda? Send your items to Alan <adgould at
comcast.net> and cc me.

Again, the AANC Board meeting is now slated for Sunday, March 28,
2010, 10:00 AM at Richard Ozer's office near Oakland International
Airport.

Local updates:
John Dobson will be in San Francisco this coming Wednesday, February
24th to San Francisco. He'll be giving a talk on Thursday the 25th
upstairs from his apartment on Judah Street and doing some sidewalk
astronomy on Friday the 26th. Exact details haven't been confirmed, so
be sure to check the SFSA website for more information if you can make
to either of these historic events:
http://www.sfsidewalkastronomers.org/

John is "officially" moving out of his apartment and relocated to
Hollywood. But for those of us in the SF Bay Area, don't worry - we're
already planning for him to make a stop here this summer on his way to
or from Oregon.

He had a great time in Death Valley. This year we had more people show
up so he had company to visit Salt Creek, Badwater, and Mosaic Canyon.
Donna Smith saw him drink the salt water from the creek but he didn't
eat any Pickelweed this year....

See you then,

Ken
